I totally just found a little gem that I thought I posted LAST YEAR! Clearly I didn't and for my own documenting pleasure I'll post it now even though it is a year late.
I can't believe how tiny my baby was!! ay ay ay
I will post something about our most recent adventures SOON.
Pregnancy has significantly slowed down my blogging. It's just the way it is.
JUST IN CASE....
We are getting ready to go to CANADA and I don't think I could possibly be more excited. This will be the first time I will have Christmas with family since 2006! Not only do I get to spend the holidays with the coolest people ever, I also get to indulge in lots of Canadian goodies that I haven't seen for a while, namely: Ketchup Chips, Perogies, REAL milk chocolate (non of this waxy chocolate business) and I will be able to buy vegimite at the regular grocery store down the street....ahhhhh I'm so grateful for the commonwealth.

Anyways, back to my enthusiasm for going to Canada. I have already packed my clothes, half of Indie's stuff (I can't pack all of it because we will most likely have to wash the clothes she has at least 2 more times before we leave) and even Kyle has joined in on the enthusiasm..however his enthusiasm is focused on the emergency kit rather than the necessary things he will need when we reach our destination. Don't get me wrong-this is one of the reason's I love Kyle. He is totally savvy with anything to do with survival and he really loves new experiences to experiment with his knowledge and so a 14 hour drive to Canada is the perfect opportunity to practice! As I was otherwise engaged in another room, Kyle was putting together our emergency kit for the car. A half hour later I checked up on him to see how the process was going and to my surprise he wasn't even half way done! He had prepared for EVERY possible natural or unnatural disaster and I'm afraid that our entire boot (trunk) of the car would have been filled with things incase of an emergency and we wouldn't have been able to fit ANYTHING else!
The real cause for concern wasn't that the car would have been over packed-the concern was that kyle had really thought of every thing that could have gone wrong which made me a little nervous for the drive! Since we sorted through it all and took out more than half of the emergency stuff I will be praying the whole way that we don't fall of a cliff and need that tent-or that a random prairie twister won't catch us on the lowly highway and we will need those canned goods while we await rescue.
Indie with daddy's big snow boots-part of the emergency kit.
