Have you ever seen those 'Luvs Diapers' commercials where the mom is all intense for the first baby and then the second comes and she is a lot less intense? Well mix that with those 'people at walmart' youtube videos and you'll find me.
Luckily I changed from my pj bottoms into some jeans before I went for a quick Walmart run, however I didn't put a shirt on under my hoodie and lets try to keep that between us. The only other people that know were in the candy isle during my little 'moment'.
Let me expound...everything was going smoothly until I passed the candy isle and for some reason those little gummy sugar covered orange slices called to me (I have never had a craving to eat those, but today I sure did). Of course they had to be on the BOTTOM shelf and there was only 1 container left and so I prepped myself for the dive, pulled up my non maternity pants and squatted like a lady that is getting a belly and couldn't get that low, I almost lost my balance and had to grunt as I heaved myself up again to hold onto the shopping trolley.
Long story short I saw a familiar face and tried to act like I didn't just make an awkward sound, only to find that at the end of the isle where I could see my reflection in the soda display, my tummy was hanging out the bottom of my hoodie and my rear end was slightly exposed.
You may be thinking that I just shared too much information, and maybe I did. But for my own documenting sake-I want to remind myself for the future to properly prepare for a shopping outing. It's worth it. Really, it is.
Lesson learned-put on an undershirt, it just covers all those places you don't want exposed and will eliminate you from being the next person on a Walmart youtube video.
Ps. I didn't even get the orange slices-twizzlers sounded better when I got to the cash register and I didn't get those either!
Haha! That is too awesome! Glad you shared this! I am sure it will help me later on. ;)
