Proud Cheapo

Recently I was cruising around on Facebook-lets not lie folks, as much as we try to avoid it, we like looking at other people’s pictures.

ANYWAYS-I saw a post that said something like this ‘its okay to be thrifty as long as you’re not cheap like a stingy Mormon mom, sometimes a bit of respect and integrity is worth a couple of bucks’ and then it had a link to a blog that was a mom that had posted on how to cut corners in spending etc. Obviously as a mom who likes to save a couple bucks I was intrigued and after reading through the blog I had quite a good little giggle.

I’m proud to say that EVERY SINGLE thing on the ‘Stingy Mormon Mom’s’ blog I did or I am currently doing to save some money!! Maybe I lack respect and integrity because I’m a cheap mommy but dang it feels good to save a few bucks!  

I’ve decided to start a stingy mom club starting now-Stingy Mom’s Unite!!! ha ha ha

(ps. for the record, I thought the post was humorous- I’m totally not offended…and I will continue to be a HUMUNGO cheapo-unless we win the lottery- then I will get everything I have ever wanted :)
